Sanitation Plan Workbook
This workbook provides guidance on writing a sanitation plan that meets the minimum requirements of the Food Premises Regulation. Section 24(3) of the regulation now requires all operators of food processing facilities to develop, maintain and follow a written sanitation plan. Your sanitation plan must be approved by your local health authority.
The workbook is available in English, Simplified Chinese, Korean and Punjabi.
Although it is an effective guide, you do not have to use this the workbook to write your sanitation plan. You can write your plan in any way that works best for you, as long as it meets the minimum regulatory requirements. Environmental health officers at your local health authority can provide you with advice.
