Acceptable proofs of identity

The Architecture and Standards Branch, Office of the Chief Information Officer, Ministry of Citizens’ Services determines which proofs of identity are acceptable for government purposes.

The proofs are described in the Evidence of Identity Standard (PDF, 1.4MB). They are also included in the application form instructions.
