Section 81 - Right to Disclose Preserved

Overview

Section 81 allows public bodies to continue the process of sharing personal information with the Tuberculosis and Chest Disabled Veterans’ Association, for the purpose of the license key program of that Association.

Section 81 of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act

A public body that, before October 4, 1993, disclosed names, addresses and drivers’ license numbers to the Tuberculosis and Chest Disabled Veterans’ Association may continue, despite section 33, to disclose that information to the association if it undertakes not to use the information except for the purposes for which it used that information before that date.
