The Province has developed a number of corporate templates specific to acquiring goods and services. These corporate templates are designed for use within the specified scope and usage guidelines for the particular template, and should be used without modification unless approval has been obtained from Legal Services and Procurement Services. To use a particular template outside of the specified scope and usage guidelines, please contact Legal Services and Procurement Services for advice and approval.

In addition, many ministries have developed their own ministry templates, in conjunction with Legal Services, to acquire goods, services and construction for their unique needs.  These ministry-specific templates are not approved for general usage by other ministries; if a ministry wants to use one of these templates outside of the context in which it was approved, contact Legal Services and Procurement Services for advice and approval.

For solicitation templates, refer to “Solicitation Templates”. This page contains links to the corporate templates available and to those ministries who have their own ministry-specific solicitation templates.

For service contracts, refer to “Service Contract Templates”.  This page contains links to the corporate service contract templates available and to those ministries who have their own ministry-specific service contract templates.  As with solicitation templates, corporate templates are for use within the specified usage guidelines only, and ministry templates are for use only by the applicable ministry and only within the context for which the template was designed.  For use of templates outside of the specified usage guidelines, please contact Legal Services for advice and approval. For other information related to acquiring services, refer to “How to Buy Services”.

For information related to acquiring goods, refer to “How to Buy Goods”.

For information related to acquiring construction services, refer to “How to Buy Construction”.

If unsure of which template to use, contact the ministry’s Procurement Specialist.
