Preparing the documents that will be used in a solicitation process, market research or notification is the result of planning undertaken by the buying organization.

Resources available to help in the development of the solicitation documents include solicitation templates, ministry Procurement Specialists, Procurement Services Branch and the Procurement Community of Practice.

One of the decisions to be made prior to posting the solicitation is whether or not electronic bid submissions through BC Bid (i.e eBids) will be allowed.
