Who can buy from this supply arrangement?

This supply arrangement is available to:

  • B.C. government ministries
  • B.C. broader public sector
    • Note: B.C. broader public sector organizations may access the services from Bell and Rogers. The agreement with TELUS does not extend to the broader public sector.

What do I need to know?

  • Many government ministries have a telecom coordinator who will coordinate the ordering of the device
  • For B.C. government users:
    • devices with a data connection are activated by placing an iStore order to link the device with the B.C. government network
    • devices must be disposed of in accordance with IT Security policy
  • This supply arrangement is for government and broader public sector business use only

How do I access these services?

  • Determine the provider which you would like to use 
    • Some providers have different coverage throughout the province
    • Some organizations prefer to have all their users with the same provider

  • For B.C. broader public sector organizations, when contacting the provider, identify the organization for which you work. View the list of public sector organizations registered to use these supply arrangements. If the public sector organization is not listed then view the supply arrangement eligibility guidelines or email the Procurement Services Branch.

How much does it cost?

  • Cost is dependent upon the provider, equipment and plan chosen
  • Visit the website of the provider for equipment and plan options
  • Ministry employees with idir access may click on the link beside the supplier contact information for pricing access
  • B.C. broader public sector employees on the supply arrangement user list and with a BCeID registered with the Procurement Services Branch may either:
    • Use their BCeID to log on and download the Province of B.C. password to obtain
      • pricing for Bell and Rogers
      • Schedule K form for Bell and Rogers
    • Email the Procurement Services Branch to reach the commodity manager for supply arrangement pricing
