Child & Family Services Contract Management Manual

The Ministry of Children and Family Development Contract Management Manual was developed in collaboration with the social services sector to:

  • Give guidance on how to do business with government – specifically, how service providers can stay compliant with standards and policy in a way that works for social services
  • Promote consistency and standardization of contract management across the province
Future changes: Release of this revised manual does not mean contracting practice changes are expected to be made immediately.

Lasting and meaningful practice changes will take time – in collaboration with the service provider community and at a pace that is realistic and appropriate for each service delivery area (PDF) and their local agencies.
