Training Pilot for Social Service Contract Management & Procurement
The Northern Contract Training Pilot provided Ministry of Children and Family Development specific training on procurement and contract management for both ministry staff and service providers in the northern part of the province.
The goal of the training pilot was to:
- Strengthen and standardize procurement and contract management practices
- Address specific challenges faced in the north, such as seasonal weather conditions, prohibitive travel costs and staff turnover
