A company that has been incorporated outside of B.C. (known as an extraprovincial company) may also register to conduct business in B.C.

Continuations

A continuation is the term used when a company wants to cease doing business in one jurisdiction and transfer the company to another jurisdiction. A company incorporated outside the province may decide to leave its home jurisdiction and continue their company in to B.C.

A company incorporated in B.C. may register to continue their business (continue their company) outside of B.C.
