Licensee Education Program
The new Licensee Education Program will be delivered in communities all across British Columbia, starting this spring. The education sessions provide licensees with practical knowledge to better navigate B.C.’s liquor laws and successfully operate their establishment.
The program currently focuses on topics of interest to food primary and liquor primary licensees, including:
- Updates on recent liquor policy changes
- Providing safe and responsible service
- Keeping a licence in good standing
- Steps to a successful liquor inspection
The program will be expanded in the future to include all other licence types.
Seminars are 2-3 hours and include time for questions with LCLB staff.
The tour kicks off this year in Vancouver, the Okanagan, and south Vancouver Island before proceeding to smaller communities around the province. View the current schedule for May-September (PDF, 105 KB) to see where the tour is heading. Please note, the schedule is subject to change. The tour will continue after September, visiting more locations in the lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.
