Heritage is our legacy from the past, what we live with today, and what we pass on to future generations. B.C.’s heritage is everywhere – start exploring! We’ve given a few suggestions below to get you started.

National Historic Sites in B.C.

According to the Canadian Register of Historic Places, B.C. is home to 94 National Historic Sites.  The BC Register of Historic Places lists 47 provincially designated sites, as well as more than 3400 formally recognized and municipally designated historic places.
