Aboriginal Community-Based Training Partnerships Program - Call for Proposals

ACBTP 2017/18 Call for Proposals

The Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training is undertaking a Call for Proposals for the Aboriginal Community-Based Training Partnerships (ACBTP) Program.  Contracts may run for up to 25 months, between January 2018, and February 2020.  ACBTP funds partnerships between public post-secondary institutions and Aboriginal communities to deliver programs that improve access to education and training within Aboriginal communities and increase participants’ attachment to the labour market.  Please consult the ACBTP Application Guide, Proposal Form, Budget Template and Partnership Agreement Template for details on the proposal submission process, including budget and partnership requirements.  These documents may also be accessed through government’s BCBid site.  Any updates regarding the ACBTP proposal process will be posted on the AVED and BCBid sites.

Please note the Ministry has updated the ACBTP Call for Proposals to reflect recent changes with regard to participant eligibility criteria. The revised wording is highlighted in the updated ACBTP Application Guide.

In addition, the Ministry has extended the closing date for the ACBTP Call for Proposals to Friday, June 2, 2017 at 4:30 PM. The previous closing date had been Wednesday, May 24, 2017. Application packages should be submitted electronically to ACBTP@gov.bc.ca.
