Aboriginal Community-Based Training Partnerships Program - Call for Proposals

ACBTP 2017/18 Call for Proposals

The Ministry of Advanced Education is undertaking a call for proposals for the Aboriginal Community-Based Training Partnerships (ACBTP) Program.  Contracts may run for up to 25 months, between January 2018, and February 2020.  ACBTP funds partnerships between public post-secondary institutions and Aboriginal communities to deliver programs that improve access to education and training within Aboriginal communities and increase participants’ attachment to the labour market.  Please consult the ACBTP Application Guide, Proposal Form, Budget Template and Partnership Agreement Template for details on the proposal submission process, including budget and partnership requirements.  These documents may also be accessed through government’s BCBid site.  Any updates regarding the ACBTP proposal process will be posted on the AVED and BCBid sites.

In late February 2017, the Ministry will hold a teleconference to discuss 2017/18 ACBTP application details, program changes from previous years, and address stakeholder questions. The exact date for the teleconference will be published to the AVED and BCBid sites in early February, 2017.

The closing date for proposal submissions to the ACBTP Program is:
4:30 PM on Wednesday, May 24, 2017.  Application packages should be submitted electronically to ACBTP@gov.bc.ca.

ACBTP Program questions not answered in the application package should be directed to:
