Issue 17-82: Visitor Entries

Entries into B.C. of non-resident travelers fell 1.8% in May (seasonally adjusted), as an 8.5% drop in entries from countries other than the U.S. more than offset a marginal 0.9% increase in entries from the United States. There were fewer entries from each of Asia (-10.5%), Europe (-8.1%), North America, Central America and Caribbean (excluding the U.S.) (-6.1%), South America (-21.4%), Oceania (-2.5%) and Africa (-1.7%).
