Issue 16-67: Food Services and Drinking Places
March 31, 2016
The province’s food services and drinking places industry recorded a 1.0% increase (seasonally adjusted) in sales during the first month of 2016, the seventh increase in eight months. Nationally, drinking places and limited service eating places were busier in January, but revenues at full-service restaurants declined, such that overall sales were relatively unchanged (+0.1%) from December.
