Building maintenance worker

BC Public Service building maintenance workers are responsible for cleaning, servicing and maintenance duties within government institutions and buildings.

These duties include:

Sweeping, mopping, polishing, waxing and vacuuming floors
Dusting and polishing desks, furniture and woodwork;
Cleaning specialized areas of the building
Mixing industrial cleaning solutions
Performing minor maintenance to equipment
